Hello - we makers from ZAM in Erlangen are hosting the VULCA Seminar and VOW assembly 2024.

We have chosen "We and our city" as the motto for the event. The reason for this: ZAM would not exist in this form without a special relationship with the city of Erlangen. This relationship consists of grown trust and a give and take on many levels. What is your relationship with the city in which you work and in which your institution is located?

Let's find out how the city and the makerspace culture can benefit from each other and continue to develop, even in a future marked by crises.

But there are other topics that concern us too. In order to structure our discussions and presentations during the days in Erlangen and to make them as fruitful as possible, we suggest the following topics in addition to the topic mentioned above:

We ask you to give us your feedback by September 15, 2024 at the latest if you would like to provide a short contribution in words, pictures or other format (experiment, workshop) on one of these topics.
We plan to group the contributions so that they become sessions of about one hour with discussion among the participants.
If you have another topic that deserves to be covered at VULCA '24, please let us know.

Depending on your submissions (again: by September 15, 2024 at the latest) and depending on the space available for events, we will then try to put together an exciting presentation program.

The conference language will be English.
