An overview of the innovations that are beginning to enable distributed manufacturing, as developed by the mAkE project. mAkE is a Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation project, funded by the European Union. The overall objective of mAkE is to strengthen existing networks of makerspaces as key drivers for local digital innovation in Africa and establish mutual and sustainable networks with European Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs), specifically makerspaces.
